Full Spectrum Doula
WHY A DOULA?
A full-spectrum doula is a trained professional who offers emotional, physical, and educational support to people throughout their reproductive experience. This includes conception, pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum, as well as grieving due to pregnancy loss and other challenges that may arise along the way.
The role of the full spectrum doula is to accompany families at every stage, providing evidence-based information and helping to create a supportive environment. Through this support, doulas foster self-confidence and empower people to make informed decisions about their health and well-being.
Full spectrum doulas are sensitive to the diversity of family experiences and are trained to support different communities, respecting the cultural traditions and personal preferences of each individual. They offer a welcoming presence and safe space to explore emotions, worries and joys throughout the entire reproductive journey.
